Getting Around

Whether walking or biking, it’s easy to get around downtown Durham. Visit the American Tobacco Trail for a paved path for walking, running, biking or skating.

In front of the Baldwin Lofts door, hop on the free Bull City Connector bus. Use the BCC to head car-free and fare-free to nearby Duke University’s campus, pick up groceries at Whole Foods, or explore artists’ studios at the Golden Belt arts district.

Just a 5 minute walk from Baldwin Lofts, is the new Durham Transportation Center, which offers connections to bus lines serving the Triangle region and an award-winning design.

Ride Amtrak for a day trip to Charlotte or beyond. With its new station in a beautiful facility at the West Village historic development downtown, the train makes travel easy.
